How will I be billed for transportation services?
For private pay clients requiring non-emergency medical transportation, full payment is due prior to the day of transport. If you have an established account or a signed JoyRide Medical Transport Service Agreement, you will be invoiced according to the terms outlined in the agreement.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We currently accept cash, check, or debit/credit card.
How do I schedule a ride?
You can schedule a ride by calling our office or by filling out the online booking form on our website. We recommend scheduling at least 24-48 hours in advance to ensure proper accommodations.
How much advance notice is required to schedule a transport?
We kindly request 24-48 hours’ notice to ensure we can make the proper accommodations for your transportation needs. However, we understand that sometimes plans change, and we will do our best to accommodate short-notice requests. Please don’t hesitate to contact our office to check availability.
How much advance notice is required to cancel a transport?
We kindly request up to 24 hours’ notice for cancellations via phone or email. Please note that while refunds are not available, a credit will be applied to your account for future use.
Do you provide after-hour and weekend transportation?
Yes, we offer evening and weekend transportation services with advance notice. Please contact us to arrange the details.
Will the driver stay with me during my appointment?
Our drivers will drop you off and return at the scheduled time. If you require the driver to stay during your appointment, please let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate
Can a family member or attendant go along to my appointment?
Yes, a family member or attendant is welcome to accompany you during your transport. Please let us know in advance so we can accommodate any additional needs.
Can I travel with my own wheelchair?
Yes, you are welcome to travel with your own wheelchair. Please inform us in advance so we can ensure proper accommodations for safe transport.
Can I book a ride for someone else?
Yes, you can book a ride for a family member or friend. Just provide their details when making the reservation.
